Scope

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to regulate the collection and processing of personal data provided by customers, suppliers and other partners and stakeholders, as well as to regulate the exercise of their rights in relation to this data.

Your personal data will be processed by the team at Camilo restaurant, Muchacho & Muchado, Lda, legal person no. 509201180, with registered offices at Estrada da Ponta da Piedade, Praia do Camilo, 8600-544, Lagos, telephone number 282 763 845, hereinafter referred to as "Camilo restaurant", which is responsible for processing the personal data it collects, processes and stores, in the sense in which such expressions are defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (or "GDPR"). 

Processing of personal data

Camilo Restaurant only processes personal data when it is necessary to comply with legal obligations that apply to it, or when such processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or associated pre-contractual steps. Restaurante Camilo may also process personal data if it has a legitimate interest in doing so, provided that, in each case, this interest complies with the applicable legislation and the rights of the data subject. This may occur, in particular, for the purposes of managing and confirming reservations, communicating with its customers, sending satisfaction questionnaires, managing customer complaints, responding to requests for information and requests, managing customers' personal preferences, recruiting employees or providing information about the activities carried out by the company. When none of the other conditions of lawfulness are able to support the data processing operation, Camilo restaurant will only process the information with the prior consent of the data subject to process their personal data for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes.

Camilo restaurant shares data with third parties, under the terms of the law, under the duty of cooperation, namely the Food and Economic Safety Authority, the Working Conditions Authority, the Tax and Customs Authority and Social Security. Camilo restaurant may also transfer data to service providers who act exclusively under its guidance or support, and who comply with technical and organizational measures equivalent to those to which it is obliged.

In addition, Camilo restaurant may communicate your personal data with all subcontractors and when such data communications are necessary or appropriate:

(i) in the light of the applicable law;

  • Request access to information - the holder of personal data has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not data concerning them is being processed and, where appropriate, to access their personal data and access the information provided for by law. 
  • Request the erasure of your personal data - the data subject has the right to request the erasure of his or her data without undue delay, and we have the obligation to erase personal data without undue delay when one of the following reasons applies: 

Personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or processed; 

Object to processing where there are no overriding legitimate interests justifying the processing; or 

You have withdrawn your consent to data processing (in cases where processing is based on consent) and there are no other grounds for such processing 

  • Objecting to the processing of your personal data - the data subject may object to the processing of their personal data in cases where the data processing is carried out for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by Camilo restaurant. In this situation, the company will be able to demonstrate the existence of legitimate grounds that prevail over the legitimate interests of the data subject.

Camilo restaurant takes the necessary measures to ensure the secure processing of personal data.
